The Joy of Giving is an annual Charity Dinner organized by Friends For Cause Foundation (FFCF). The founder of of FFCF, Yogesh Bhatia, visits India every year to carry out his passion of Gift a Sight Project. The projects started with tragedy of losing his brother. He makes sure that he does this work very diligently and in process follows all medical guidelines – from picking out people on the streets to get their vision tested, to having the surgeries done on those who require it – it is all planned and executed under co-operations of his friends and the guidance of his mentors and support of local NGOs.

Friends For Cause Foundation is a not-for-profit group that executes “Gift a Sight” and “Gift A Vision” Projects in India.

Gift a Sight:​

“Gift a Sight” is a project to provide free Pheco-Cataract Surgery to old widows, street people and people with challenging financial situation. We select them and then fund their cataract Surgery in Hospitals. These are life changing experiences for us. And this will be our 7th year doing this project.

Gift a Vision:​

While “Gift A Vision” is an extensive program with the goal of giving 20,000 underprivileged school children access to vision screenings and distribute free glasses to those in need and further treatment if required. We are starting this year with this extensive program.
